My mother had some blood stains on her carpet that were there for weeks. My brother bought some Eco-88 at the local Ace Hardware. I thought it was a completely futile effort to try to remove old blood but it came up entirely after one try. This is a great product. I had no idea it was for pet odors and stains as well. I have some sofas that have a serious cat urine smell but they are beautiful and were made for us so I don't want to toss them. I plan to try this.

So, update. It had no impact at all on the cat smell. However, I had an old red wine stain on the zipper of a beautiful Coach bag. Just on a whim, I sprayed just a bit of this on the stain. The stain was gone the next time I checked. That stain had been there for more than a year.
