I bought if for a stain on my carpet, not sure what it was but think it might be ink. It didn't work very well on that, though it doesn't say it takes out ink. I have however used it on clothing, sheets, and towels and it takes out lots of stains, even a stain that Oxy-clean didn't take care of.
