This removed old puppy urine stains from my carpet and fresh throw up stains (bile - I don't know about undigested food stains) from carpet and bedspread. Spray and walk away is true (except for laundering bedspread after it dries.). I read some of the negative reviews and am surprised by them. I guess some carpets have been damaged, but this is definitely not hydrogen peroxide or my carpet would be spotted by now. Have used almost a whole bottle because my little dog is throwing up frequently from pancreatitis. Am ordering more.

I can't testify about odor removal since the puppy who wrecked my carpet in a matter of days is no longer here to repeat his vile behavior.

I do wish it sprayed better when it is getting 2/3 empty. I will transfer it to another spray bottle if need be. I have tried a lot of stain and odor removers.
